Sukabumi, 06/05/2026 — Nusa Putra University will host the prestigious ASEAN Youth Camp 2026 (AYC 2026), scheduled to take place from October 5–10, 2026. This international event is expected to bring together more than 300 participants, consisting of teachers and students from ASEAN countries, as well as several nations across Asia and Africa.
ASEAN Youth Camp is an annual international program held in different countries each year. In 2026, Indonesia, through Nusa Putra University, has the honor of hosting this important event, providing a strategic platform to strengthen international collaboration in education.
The Steering Committee Chair, Dr. Jasmansyah, emphasized the significance of the program as a global learning platform for both educators and students.
“ASEAN Youth Camp is an annual agenda organized in different countries on a rotating basis. This program serves as an important platform to build international networks, strengthen youth leadership, and foster cross-cultural educational collaboration,” he stated.
Over the six-day program, participants will engage in a wide range of educational and interactive activities, including:
- Teachers Conference and Students Conference
- Leadership Workshops
- Cultural Performances representing participating countries
- Academic and non-academic competitions
- Educational Visits and School Visits
- Outbound activities and fun games
- Education and innovation expo
The program is designed not only to enrich academic knowledge but also to enhance cross-cultural understanding, leadership skills, and global collaboration among participants.
With the presence of hundreds of participants from diverse countries, ASEAN Youth Camp 2026 is expected to become a significant milestone for Indonesia—particularly Sukabumi—in strengthening its role as a hub for international educational activities, while also showcasing the richness of Indonesian culture to the world.
Furthermore, the event is anticipated to contribute positively to educational development, promote the exchange of innovative ideas, and establish sustainable global networks among teachers and young generations.
